Is Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) something that's used in 'washing' crack? I have no idea, just guessing, but perhaps - like the lip balm and the condoms - it's something that's specific to certain forms of drug-use?
Btw, in order to comment and to like, The Daily Beagle made me verify my email address - twice - today! That's never happened before. Glitch, or change to Substack's policy? I haven't tried on any other substack yet today so can't confirm if it's substacks generally or just yours specifically.
I haven't made any changes. I know if I visit 'other domains' (website URLs that point to Substack articles) I have to frustratingly 're-login' individually, but as this is on the dedicated Substack site it shouldn't require that.
Substack might have altered how they store data in cookie storage to meet GDPR requirements? The only options I have are to choose between free or paid subscription access and that's it.

It seems you're onto something.
"To dissolve brown heroin or crack cocaine you need to add an acid like vitamin C (ascorbic acid) or citric."

So it seems like the vending machine is a crack cocaine users' specialist dispensary.
Here's me thinking maybe it was an infection control measure.

I enjoyed the snark. Some things just make one shake their head. Have to find humor where you can while the western world burns.
