What might raise your eyebrow is the movie "The King's Man"; whilst the plot is supposedly fiction interwoven with historical events (let us not forget the primary Hollywood demographic), it ends up showing, as part of the plot, that the US President, Woodrow Wilson, is blackmailed because he had an affair with a female operative.
However it inverts the implied truth: the movie supposes Woodrow Wilson is blackmailed into *not* getting involved with WW1.
