Before I vote, I need to know if making the article public would endanger you in any way- would you be more likely to get censored? Are paying subscriber articles more discrete? If it puts you or your Substack at any risk, then don't do it. If it's all the same either way, then making it a public post will not only alert more people, but also gain you more subscribers.
There are a LOT of pointers to mid-Feb. for dire predictions, even more than the ones you've included. Something wicked this way comes.
I've purposefully avoided making any explicit references to myself in this article. I do typically consider the articles more discreet, but I recognise it isn't truly private.
The only thing that might be at risk is the free subscribers get annoyed with this informal format and unsubscribe. But frankly I always get a handful on every article, then usually a burst of new free subscribers will come in.
The informal format is fine for this- it's a lot of rather urgent information, and time is of the essence. Any thinking person reading it would understand and appreciate the "heads up." Your usual compositions are very polished, thoughtful analysis, so you've got all the bases covered.

I appreciate the thoughtfulness.

Oh that last meme!
I am a free reader and am grateful for the opportunity you do not owe me.
