So, it’s called a Section 114 and there were 114 councils that accrued £3.5B in debt?! Weird.

Interesting spot. Section 114 is part of Local Government Finance Act 1988 (so it was rolled out before the councils started going broke):

https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1988/41/section/114

My suspicion is there are far more than 114 in-debt councils. I think if you eyeball the page it implies only a handful (I think roughly ~40?) are solvent. Which means it is more likely 348 are facing debt issues. However it is up to a council when or if they declare a Section 114. There's no information explaining what happens if they point blank refuse to declare it.

Yes, they like to mock us.

Sounds daft, but 1 + 1 + 4 = 6 ... and 3 x 5 = 15 (with 1 + 5 = 6)... so you have 6 ..6 ...6

Madness hey from this tin foil hat wearing nutter.

PS Look how many articles in the MSM have the number 33 in !?.

Completely agree with you the numerology aspect.

You described the scheme very well: taking money from the people, by taxes and inflation, and stuffing it in the pockets on the top). It has been going on for years, and accelerated significantly in the last century (1919, 1945, 1990, 2015, 2020 ff.). By the way, if you notice coincidences in the years I mentioned, they're just that. Pure coincidence. Every fact checker will certainly agree to that.

Never waste a good opportunity, right?!

It's more than just a good opportunity. Premeditated. Suck out all the money from below. Expropriate not only individuals but also political entities which are still halfway responsible/responsive to the needs of the people. And they won't stop there. The ultimate goal (for now) is the dismantling of all government for the people. Next step would be discrediting national governments (which isn't really difficult, in view of the total incompetence of "western" governments), and handing over power to faceless international three letter agencies (UNO, WHO, ok "EU" has two letters, lol) and global corporations. An example for you Englishmen: look what happens to Ireland. As soon as they got rid of England (Which I welcome), they threw themselves 200% into the arms of Globohomo. The result is even more painful, as the irish are a relatively small people.

My thoughts are they priming for a takeover. When you are bankrupt the state and financial institutions have more leverage over you.In this case, it is the globalists and the UN.

I suspect one of the biggest players in council debt was the response to C19 , I can't imagine what this has cost over the course of the plandemic.

Where I live in Somerset there is not a single NHS dentist and services are at breaking point and I can only assume they will need to put the council tax to cover there short fall🥳

Some of the councils were racking up debt long before C19. The financing cuts started as early as 2010 (which is when Tory/Lib Dem coalition came into power) with their finances being reduced by 90% (over time, up until 2023 currently). They were already struggling with social care costs back in 2010; I doubt the open border influx or economic implosion are helping.

Several have filed Section 114 under lawsuits involving 'equal pay disputes' (Birmingham is one of them). I had considered perhaps the murder shots had killed off a lot of taxpayers, but they're also service users (fewer service users also means fewer costs).

I don't think it is in response to C19. The evidence shows, with the exception of a few buckling under lawsuits, that the main government is intentionally withholding finances whilst directing them to spend on 'required services' (rock and hard place: don't spent and you're breaking the law, do spend and you have to file a S. 144 notice and let the government take charge).

The whole point of initiatives like Brexit was localism of power. So it is clear globalists intend to try to centralise the councils under one jackboot by bankrupting councils. Notice Scottish councils (which is under the devolved Scottish power and thus not beholden so strongly to English Parliament) are experiencing far fewer S. 114 notices.

Agreed, it has been along time in the making and it serves certain agendas well.

The lack of state health care will help accelerate the private sector for those that can afford it and the rest will get pushed back on ever extending waiting lists.I think it shows there utter contempt for the population.

Were being asset stripped , Thatcher and her backers did it collectively with privatisation and now there going after the individual. A planned collapse and going green at the same time.No money=No life for many🏁

At this point, why bother pay it at all?

Expand full comment

Agreed👍 but non payment has to be done with comprehension.

One angle maybe on the grounds of conscience (and they want to kill us) I looked up up the gov terrorism act and the C19 response ticks all there own boxes, then there is endemic corruption, sponsoring fake wars, lack of democracy, human rights abuses, a failed legal system etc🤝Its all a scam.

If it's grounds of conscience, Section 114 hands the main government direct control to direct financial spending as they see fit!

I can't help but feel the installation of all those expensive new bike lanes during the pandemic were unwarranted too...

The council tax is a contract of which you opt in to. So, you have to withdraw your consent or haggle to say what you want to pay. I know people who have done both.

As an aside... In the UK, I think cycle lanes are warranted with the amount of cyclists, which I personally find as a nuisance coming from the US. But the costs to do the work is too high and the infrastructure is about 1000 years behind. Plus it takes the roadworks team so long!

The problem with council tax non payment is finding the best means to acchive it.

Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated🤝👍

this is about a legal way to withhold tax in a trust ( even PAYE) whilst asking for proof the government aren't spending taxes illegally

Will check this out as was self employed until last year. Got an outstanding self assessment so want to withhold legally

I’m just keen on synchronicities and numbers...

Good point about the councils opting to NOT declare a section 114. Can they just go to infinity debt?! It’s all Monopoly money at this rate anyways.

More Wealth transfer and asset stripping in my simplistic view.

I recall seeing a notice of UK Government Ltd going into administration, 2020, June, I think. Don't know what happened or what it means exactly, except that it would be controlled by B of E. Companies House has the filing.
