Your article doesn't really mention vegetarianism, but it does mention "the African swine fever (ASF) with a dramatic decline in the Export" as one reason. I could definitely support this as a possibility as Swine Flu was hitting swing in 2020.

You'll notice from the stats that from 2019 to 2020 vegetarian numbers go up, but in the same year period on the pig herd numbers graph, we see pig herd numbers remaining steady (with a slight increase). If vegetarianism was the main impact, we would have seen it go down during this period.
The evidence vegetarianism is impacting meat purchasing is heavily undermined by the fact other meats (as you pointed out, chicken and turkey) are either maintaining or rising in purchases. Also, I'd have a hard time believing ~1 million people would be responsible for a 6 million drop in pigs. I don't think 1 million people could eat 6 million pigs in a year even if that was somehow their sole diet, which realistically it isn't going to be.
Vegetarians also cannot eat other types of meat to be classified as vegetarian (they can however consume animal products like milk, egg, cheese, etc), so it would fail to explain why other meats are steady or rising. We would expect a net drop in all meats if they were the primary cause. Data doesn't support this hypothesis.
Some non-vegetarians might invent exceptions like 'fish isn't meat' or whatever nonsense, but they would not qualify as vegetarian under the statistical definition (vegans reject all animal-derived products, including egg and cheese), and their continued consumption of meat would still register.
In terms of heart attacks though, you'll probably agree that raising chickens is substantially less labour intensive than raising pigs. So factoring in what you're mentioning, what we're seeing is a shift to less labour intensive farming practices.

This is how the vax supporters avoid addressing difficult questions = the truth. They believe, and can somehow avoid questioning the narrative!
Doctors used to have pride, dignity, compassion, honesty and the trust of their patients. Their 'oath' was 'DO NOI HARM'. This was way back in 2019, before they received the WEF New World Order instructions to promote EXPERIMENTAL depopulation injections, incorrectly referred to as VACCINES.

Another aspect thinking outside of the box is the influx of Islamists into Germany, where Pork is considered not halal. I still like your cardiac theory more because it explains the timeline trend of why it starts at the end of 2020 and just slides downhill (plus Germany has had a migration problem for at least a decade now, so if it was that we would have seen a much earlier decline).

What is not mentioned in the article is that number of vegetarians is still rising in Germany. This also plays a role.
Corellating the piggy stuff with monkey-business injections is a far stretch to me.
Turkey and chicken (white-meat) volume is still on the rise in Germany, so not affected so far.
