The idea that we’re going to send in offensive equipment and have planes and tanks and trains going in with American pilots and American crews — just understand, don’t kid yourself, no matter what y’all say, that’s called World War III
- Joe Biden, 11th March, 2022, on why he was refusing to send tanks to Ukraine.
You’ve probably already heard of the US’ government’s decision to send US tanks to Ukraine, with Germany and other European countries following close by.
What you may not know is that German Foreign minister Annalena Baerbock recently remarked that “we [Europe] are fighting a war against Russia”. Practically no-one in any government has asked for the comments to be retracted, and no powers have condemned it as provocative.
No Fighting In The War Room
Instead, the German government gaslighted and simply said they were ‘not a warring party’ and that Russia had merely “misinterpreted” Annalena’s words. Do they suppose Russia misinterpreted their actions in shipping German Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine also? They’re non-warring tanks?
In response Russia are planning to deploy robot unmanned anti-tank units. Those must be because Russia is also not a warring party. Anyone keeping tabs on the Syrian war will not be surprised by this as Russia were testing robot tanks like the Uran-9 in Syria back in 2018.
Hooray, Terminators. We wonder if they’re like the earlier robot cannons that killed 9 soldiers — on its own side — and injured 14 more. Or if they’ll be as effective as Tesla cars at destroying child-sized dummies or fatally crashing.
War War War
NATO member Denmark is planning to introduce conscription for women into mandatory military service, with the defence minister insisting ‘women must be called up with men’. Denmark likely knows what happened to the Neanderthals, and Bill Gates is most likely pleased for it.
Readers will be also comforted to know that a warhawk won the Czech Republic election. Retired Army General Petr Pavel won by 58%, who just so happens to be a former NATO general by sheer coincidence.
In an interview with RTP, a Portuguese TV channel, Chair of the NATO Military Committee Rob Bauer said NATO is ready for a direct confrontation with Russia. Russia replied “we are ready”, showing Russia are also gearing up for a fight with NATO.
Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino confirmed Russia has “moved from a concept of special operation to a concept now of a war against NATO and the West”.
So it’s nice to see both sides agree on something that they also agree isn’t the thing they just agreed upon.
Also China Too
The US somehow not feeling that a fight with Russia is sufficient, have also said that they’re likely to go to war with China as well in 2025, a statement made by a US Air Force General who, for some reason, hopes he is wrong. Supposedly this is just a ‘gut instinct’. Sure. Right. Definitely not preplanned.
North Korea Yo Jong officially declared they would ‘stand in the same trench’ as Russia. Lula, leader of Brazil, has made clear they side also with Russia by condemning Ukraine.
Retired US General Michael Flynn concurred with the sentiment this is moving towards World War III, remarking “This is Bad for America. This is Bad for the World. We are about to Enter Potentially World War III”.
In a totally unrelated coincidence, the WHO published an update on vital medicines in nuclear emergencies. According to the Epoch Times, it is the first time they’ve updated it since 2007, and that’s even with the Fukushima nuclear plant disaster in 2011.
UniParty Politics
Whilst Flynn calls this potential World War 3 “Biden’s disaster”, The Daily Beagle points out UniParty Republicans sided with UniParty Democrats to form voting majority and pass war spending bills in Ukraine with no objections (besides Rand Paul asking they please keep the receipts — so the public can get a refund, we guess?).
Donald Trump made recent proclamations for agreeing peace on an oddly short and unrealistic timescale of 24 hours with not even a draft plan to hand, even though both Ukraine and Russia have ruled out peace. Trump omits the fact he sent anti-tank weapons to Ukraine. Actions speak louder than cheap, empty words in UniParty land.
One UniParty Republican has even introduced a resolution to spend money on a bust of Ukrainian President Zelensky in these trying financial times that have Americans caught short, unable to afford food.
What a wise, sensible investment of American taxpayers’ money. Thanks, Joe Wilson of South Carolina, for your thoughtful contributions.
More Please Sir
Even though they have received billions burdening US taxpayers with eyeboggling amounts of inflation and debt, Ukraine is now begging to receive submarines, jets, and long range missiles. Yes, even though Ukraine is primarily a land war, with minimal coastline, Ukraine wants subs.
You’ll be comforted to know that despite Joe Biden previously insisting fighter jets lead to World War 3, the Pentagon hasn’t ruled out giving Ukraine fighter jets, and thus, hasn’t ruled out a lead to World War 3.
Depleted Reserves, Depleted Uranium
The US is now desperately trying to upscale manufacturing of artillery shells in order to solve their depleted reserves issue, with plans to increase production by 500%, even as RAND corporation now begs the US to not enter a protracted war that RAND previously advised them to take on.
The UK government, also wanting perpetual war, has proposed that an arms factory be set up in Poland to continually supply weapons, all whilst UK government backed universities declare violence in Shakespearean plays to be triggering with a straight face. Fictional violence in books bad, financing violence in real life good.
The Pentagon has also not ruled out sending Depleted Uranium rounds along with the tanks, probably so they can give Ukrainian locals cancer and birth defects. Russia have said if the Depleted Uranium rounds are used in Ukraine, they will consider it akin to the use of dirty nuclear bombs, with unspecified, vague consequences of some sort.
Definitely Not, Not World War Not 3
Russia’s former President, Dmitry Medvedev, however, has insisted — perhaps naively — that tanks and fighter jets somehow won’t lead to World War 3, in response to Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto’s remarks World War 3 would break out if Russian tanks somehow reached Kiev.
It’s nice to know all these people who are clearly gearing up for World War 3 are absolutely insisting it is definitely not World War 3.

With embryonic WWIII bubbling along nicely, it's time to reflect on wider context.
I refer, of course, to the 2015 Rand Report which recommended that the US go to war with China; a war that is eminently winnable, if not with Acceptable Collateral Damage (ACD). I had to fossick about a bit to decipher ACD in more comprehendable terms and it turns out this is a euphemism for Australia.
Right on! I thought to myself. Oz has, indeed some elements of risk in the event of WWIII. Just up the street from where I live, there is the Raytheon missile launching site, which would be nuclear-armed of course. There is a slight possibility that China might lob a reprisal nuke at this during the hustle and bustle of WWIII activities, and I feel somewhat offended at being dismissed as "collateral damage".
My neighbours regard my misgivings as typical of my self-centredness and lack of patriotism, but then they are fully vaxxed and all wear badges proclaiming "We are ridin' with Biden". Fair enough, I suppose. But there are another seven US military installations in our Northern Territory and it seems to make sense for China to nuke these too, maybe even pre-emtively. That means we will all be radioactive dust if Pompeo gets his way.
I am sure Xi reads The Daily Beagle so here's a message, mate. "The chances of a US missile actually making it to China are pretty remote. How about you save your arsenal for better targets and just get your Darwin harbour spies to just do a quick hand job in despatching these weapons. And while we are on this subject, could you ask Singapore to not cancel our national fuel shipments over something so petty as a war?
On Medvedev's comments, I think TASS misinterpreted his words--basically reversing the order of events, at least that's the way I read it. His statement on Telegramwas:
"Secondly, once the Third World War breaks out, unfortunately it will not be on tanks or even on fighter jets. Then everything will definitely be turned to dust,"
In other words, after WW3 starts, tanks and fighter jets won't matter anymore since everything will be turned to dust at that point (presumably implying nukes)
