I'll have to hunt down the link but there was a report that despite knowing there was issues with the train, it kept moving until the catastrophic failure. It was something to do wheel sensors and that two thermal alarms were ignored.
There you go. Not the report that I heard but close enough. Stuff gets worse for NS. It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out; I'm skeptical that anyone will be held responsible.

This is another preventable tragedy. You wrote one of the better chem analyses that ive come across but really knock it out of the park when you brought in NS' "FAQ" and compared it to the science. More expert fraud.
The dizzying numbers of lying liars who lie in every imaginable industry (to say nothing of government) who seem to be getting away more and more easily with their not-even-believable lies...well, the layers and twists of gaslighting are fast making those of us paying attention into folks who doubt our sanity and feel rage surge each day. The liars have no souls...their prevarication accelerates...the whole world feels dangerously off kilter. Actual ecological disaster yet not a climate fist-shaker to be seen. Our humanity and the search for truth is what I hold on to...for dear life. Thank you for your knowledge and sleuthing, most sincerely, Underdog! A breath of fresh air (in this case, literally).
