I compare Twitter to Gab because a lot of the suggestions by Elon - including paid verification, an edit button, blocking and muting accounts, and more - are features on Gab and aren't really found on other sites. Blocking is the most common, but there are no sites that have all the features.
Telegram Check Mark verification is manual and doesn't involve money, and requires a phone number.
Both Signal and Telegram require a phone number (which is far too invasive in my view). Both supposedly use encryption to hide messages.

I had not registered on Medium as I was focusing to make sure The Daily Beagle operations were smoothed over and focusing mainly on expanding custom-built tools first - taking on too many projects at once can kill productivity.
