This Graph Should Terrify Everyone

Forebodings Of Things To Come

This is a graph indicating the major decline in pig herds for farming in Germany since 2018. In real terms it means food prices will go up, as food availability goes down.

That by itself might be worrying, but you might be thinking ‘it’s not that terrifying’. If it was a general decline, perhaps not, but the graph tells far more than it is letting on, and far more than the original article on the matter says.

Closer Inspection

The graph was sourced from Bloomberg here. The article makes vague, unevidenced insinuations about Germans ‘cutting back’ and bird-related diseases which have absolutely nothing to do with pig farming. In-fact, Bloomberg’s refusal to dig deeper is suspicious in and of itself. Why would they not investigate such a major story?

To assist with interpretation, we’ve added vertical lines to the years, to really emphasise the timing of the events, so we can take a closer look. The first suggestion people made was that the pig herds had been decimated by lockdown.

However, notice the pig herds actually increased during lockdown (see above) between 2020 to 2021. It makes sense, a farmer lives on their farm, they don’t really need to make outside visits for their work to function, and more time on the farm means more time to focus on raising animals. The data allows us to rule out lockdown as the cause of the decline.

Not Rising Costs Either, Nor War

Twitter account Wall Street Silver basically regurgitated the unevidenced claim by Bloomberg of people ‘cutting back’, tacking on the interpretation that it was due to ‘spiraling costs’, without evidence to back the claim:

However, the graph disproves this hypothesis as well. The spike in living costs for Europeans, with regards to energy prices, didn’t occur until after the Ukraine war in February 24th 2022, however we can see the decline occurs well before the Ukraine war occurred, starting as early as late 2020:

In-fact, we can see that prices have nothing to do with the decline, because it does not accelerate even well into 2022, when price rises reach full-swing.

We can confirm this with an energy prices chart (which conveniently includes German power costs), which shows energy price rises don’t increase until late 2021, and skyrockets only in early-2022, long after the decline in herd numbers start:

If you look very carefully on the herd decline chart, roughly about the start of the war, the herd decline actually slightly tapers off:

If prices were driving the decline, we’d expect this to get worse in 2022, not slightly better. The trend fits what is already known: German discount store Aldi have said they’d only phase out the cheap meats in 2025, and the announcement was made in mid 2021, well after the decline was underway.

The Cause Of The Decline

Some of you may have already clocked on what is actually causing the decline, and why Bloomberg are so evasive on the topic. To ensure everybody is on the same page, let us look at some hard data from the UK so it is incredibly explicit.

Here are heart attack death statistics from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), broken down by year, spanning 2019 to 2022:

Don’t worry if you can’t really see it, we’re only interested in the data at the bottom that summarises for all ages, so for simplicity we’ve merged the column heading and the bottom data for readability:

Note the ‘P’ next to the year number stands for ‘provisional’, which is the ONS way of saying the dataset isn’t complete (read: missing additional case figures). Naturally given we’re still in 2022 and it takes years to collate deaths, we can ignore the 2022 figure for now; that figure is artificially low. The 2021 is also artificially low, but still higher than the 2020 data.

You’ve likely noticed that for 2019 and 2020 — the latter during the peak of the pandemic — heart attack deaths barely changed (54 extra deaths). But as soon as we step into 2021, the year of the SARS-CoV-2 shot rollout — with death figures still missing, note — we see it jump by a whopping 621 deaths.

That’s an increase of heart attack deaths by 3.19% compared to 2020. Worse than during the peak of a pandemic.

We see this also mirrored in an FOIA for NHS Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, where the breakdown for heart failure referrals is done from 2017 to 30/11/2022:

Notice how during lockdown in 2020, heart failure referrals go down (showing SARS-CoV-2 is not responsible for an increase in heart attacks), and then we see an increase to 1693 in 2021 — that’s 439 more referrals than even 2017 (a 35% increase!) — and a whopping 2091 in 2021 alone — a massive increase of 837 compared to 2017 (a 66.7% increase!).

These numbers for heart attacks are absolutely mind-boggling! 3.19% increase in total heart attack deaths, a 67% increase in heart failure referrals in a single year alone.

When we put that together with the graph for the herd numbers we reach an inescapable conclusion…

Farmers Are Dying From The Poison Shots

This is the terrifying part, because it has far wider implications. German pathologist Peter Schirmacher has called for an investigation into the shots for damaging the heart (translated version here).

We know it is the shots because SARS-CoV-2 does not cause myocarditis and pericarditis:

Post COVID-19 infection was not associated with either myocarditis (aHR 1.08; 95% CI 0.45 to 2.56) or pericarditis (aHR 0.53; 95% CI 0.25 to 1.13). We did not observe an increased incidence of neither pericarditis nor myocarditis in adult patients recovering from COVID-19 infection.

This remained true even in autopsies of those who died specifically from heart attacks with SARS-CoV-2:

In conclusion, across 277 cases, COVID-19-related cardiac histopathological findings, are common, while myocarditis is rare.

If we re-examine the downward decline of the herd numbers, noticeably it occurs just as the shots are starting to be rolled out in Europe (December 2020) and continues on a continuous rolling downhill trajectory with only the slightest of tapers:

It isn’t worsened by food prices or war or energy prices. It just continually downward declines in a way the earlier parts of the graph pre-2021 don’t even hint at:

It is very likely the many farmers who took these shots are dying from the shots, as a result we’re seeing the consequence in the form of a collapse in food production. A decline in pig herd numbers by one-fifth.

Farming is an inter-generational practice. It requires extensive skills in many fields, from agriculture to mechanical engineering to weather prediction. These maimings and deaths from the shots likely represent entire farming families and communities, either crippled or wiped out.

This knowledge is not something you can just casually replace. You cannot take an office drone who works 9-to-5 and expect them to know anything about field management or how a tractor operates. These losses are very likely permanent.

This is the terrifying aspect: a real world disaster of large quantities of farmers dying out who took the shot leading a collapse in the supply chain of food. “Best” case scenario, food prices skyrocket and food sizes shrink due to a lack of available supply. Worst case scenario food becomes completely unavailable and we all end up facing a famine.

This is a disaster of the worst proportions.
