In The Daily Beagle’s other article Germany Likely To Ditch Ukraine Aid Over Gas Fears, we remarked that:
With gas deliveries to the EU failing and with clear signs the German economy - one of the major contributors of the EU - is imploding, this means the EU simply does not have the finances necessary to even try to assist Ukraine in this war.
We’d like to also highlight it ultimately means the EU cannot assist itself either, if you think about it logically. Ukraine is but one country. The EU is 27 countries. They cannot afford to salvage one country, they definitely cannot salvage 27 countries.
The article also notes the EU’s massive debt:
In 2021, the EU reported it was in a whopping debt-to-GDP ratio of 100.5%, a debt far greater than would ever be possible for the EU to ever pay back, an increase from the 92.2% back in 2013.
This means, as the EU drowns under their massive debt, with PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, Spain) already underwater as early as 2013, the collapse of the biggest contributor to the EU - Germany. President Of German Employers' Association issued a dire warning on the German cuts.
Following on from the UK departing the failed EU state back in early 2021 as the third biggest contributor, means the EU is literally on the verge of economical collapse.
The only remaining contender for contributor, France, currently led by Macron, was last seen rushing up to and begging Joe Biden for oil assistance after hurriedly trying to explain the dire straits the EU was in:
France is in similar dire straits to Germany, with them cutting off power to street lights to save power, as Macron begs the Frence populace to reduce how much power they consume. France depended upon Russian gas for power heavily in light of decommissioning nuclear power plants.
Amusingly, France’s “brilliant” plan for solving the gas shortage? Switching to oil. Yes, that’s right, the same oil the EU is also facing a shortage on. The very same oil Macron was begging Biden over.
It is very evident the EU - having outsourced their manufacturing to China - and outsourced their energy to Russia - are on the verge of a breakdown. You may watch an economical superpower disintegrate overnight.
