FDA shows utter contempt for the health and safety of the American Public
They're not even bothering to pretend to be interested in clinical data
The facade of the Facade and Drug Administration has, in classic fashion, fallen. Is it really surprising the same agency that refuses to investigate clinical data fraud by Pfizer, and outright covers up alarming red flags, is now dropping the facade of pretending to even care about clinical data.
U.S. health regulators will not require companies to submit new clinical trial data on COVID-19 vaccines that target the now dominant BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron subvariants to authorize those shots, but will instead rely on studies showing the efficacy of targeting the earlier BA.1 subvariant
Data for safety and effectiveness is not interchangeable. You can’t claim a shot can be greenlit on the basis that some other, different shot was maybe effective (data that the FDA has not shown any evidence of).
Not only is BA.1 completely different to BA.4 and BA.5, but the safety data has been completely driven over, run roughshod, as if wildly different viral vectors are all interchangeable. There’s no consistent standard.
The pharmaceutical companies could blend whatever they want in that shot, and there’s no way of knowing because they’re not beholden to anybody, and are immune to liabilities. They don’t want to take a risk on their product, but they’re more than eager for you to play Russian roulette with risking your own life.
It’s like arguing that safety data for one car, say, a Tesla, is interchangeable with another car that works slightly differently, like a Ford Pinto. Ignore the fact Ford Pinto vehicles used to explode, they’re both a type of car so the safety data is comparable, right?
Wrong. The FDA has abdicated the responsibility it once claims to hold, and it begs the question if the FDA doesn’t review anything, doesn’t check the safety data on anything, doesn’t investigate fraud, why does it even exist, other than to give pharmaceuticals a thinly veiled pretense what they’re doing is vaguely justifible even when the evidence overwhelmingly shows it’s not?
The public should not tolerate this rampant abuse of the system. The FDA is accountable to no-one, rubberstamping anyone who whiffs money under their employees noses. Such a disgusting, reckless practice.
