Previously we wrote the article “Which MPs Should Be PM?”, and the leadership race has since narrowed to 6 contenders:
Suella Braverman (“Meh” rating)
Kemi Badenoch (Unrated)
Rishi Sunak (“No” rating)
Liz Truss (“Meh” rating)
Tom Tugendhat (“No” rating)
Penny Mordaunt (“No” rating)
The votes as reported by the Guardian are thus:
Rishi Sunak (88 votes)
Penny Mordaunt (67 votes)
Liz Truss (50 votes)
Kemi Badenoch (40 votes)
Tom Tugendhat (37 votes)
Suella Braverman (32 votes)
Total: 314 votes (plus the 25 + 18 votes from the two eliminated candidates: 357)
This means our highest rated contender, Braverman, is doing the worst out of the 6 unless some of the others merge their votes together and endorse Braverman. Rishi is riding out on personality but has a dark history.
Kemi Badenoch: What Rating?
Kemi Badenoch is a new contender that we did not cover last time, so we’ll cover them now. Daughter of Nigerian migrant parents (possible conflict of interest on border controls), Badenoch backed Brexit, and is opposed to the Hate Speech Bill, she has criticised ‘pointless degrees’. On surface level, she looks like a decent enough candidate.
However, our newest competitor - along with her friends - have a new dimension to contend with, specifically their pro-life stance. Badenoch enters our “meh” rating as a result of her actions in the next part.
What Are Their Pro-Life Stances?
We’ve shamelessly nabbed this image from righttolife.org, however I imagine they won’t mind us nabbing it if it highlights the issues of pro-life and voting history, and there’s only one clear winner by a long shot out of the six candidates. Braverman:
Much to our amusement, Steve Baker was still the best contender out of the original listing having consistently voted pro-life, solidly reinforcing his “Yes” rating:
However, he’s no longer in the running, and unless all the Tories turned to encourage him to run and he suddenly did, it’s not a realistic prospect.
Going based on our prior dataset and currently, the new descriptive ratings from The Daily Beagle are thus:
Suella Braverman: At least acts human.
Kemi Badenoch: Inexperienced novice not entirely sure where they stand.
Rishi Sunak: Pharmaceutical sell-out who exploits children.
Liz Truss: Brexiteer who hates children.
Tom Tugendhat: Obviously a globalist infiltrator child murderer who hates children slightly less. Why haven’t they been removed from the party yet?
Penny Mordaunt: Obviously a globalist infiltrator child murderer who really hates children. Why haven’t they been removed from office yet?
The Daily Beagle’s Advice:
It is clear Liz, Kemi and Suella are competing in the same hotly contested space of ‘pro-Brexiteer’, whilst Tom and Penny are competing in ‘biggest globalist scumbag of the year’. Rishi Sunak is in a class of his own riding on misguided popularity that will lead to the utter destruction of the Tory party if he gets selected.
My recommendation is Liz, Kemi and Suella collapse their voting lines together. If they do this, they can potentially control 122 votes. They would need to split the Rishi voting base with appropriate compromises to them on given areas.
The situation to be absolutely avoided at all costs is Penny Mordaunt’s bats**t pro-transgender policies gaining any footing, along with her perchant for murdering children with ‘abortion’. Someone that crazy is not responsible enough to be PM during our WW3 crisis.
Kemi came over by herself at 16. She was born in the UK but raised in Nigeria. Best candidate in a poor field.
